Congratulations on the release
of your album! Why are there two release dates? Wasn't December
16th the Official release date?
Thank you for your congratulations. I can see
how the confusion has come about but the answer is actually
very cool. I wanted the album available to my fans as soon as
possible as a birthday present to myself of sorts, the record
company made December 16th the Official pre-release date for
our fans so that they could get the album before the rest of
the world got it. The release date to come will be the Official
Record Company release date to stores. It will be preceded by
a radio single and music video as promotion for the album's
release.
"Rockero Soy"
is very different in style from "De un corazón a
otro" but it still reflects you very well. Your first single
"No es pecado" sets the tone well for what to expect
from "Rockero Soy".
Thank you. I put a lot of work into the album
and it is by far the most satisfying album I have ever done.
Not only did I write all the lyrics and music but I also produced
the entire album from start to finish. I agree, I feel the first
single "No es pecado" is a very good indicator of
what you can expect on the album. This album is much more Rock
en Español than "De un corazón a otro"
which was more in the style of música romántica
and pop balada. I didn't totally go rock though so you will
still hear pop songs on the new album. "Rockero Soy"
is a much broader album in terms of musical styles and is much
more indicative of who I am as an artist and performer.
What is the next step after the album's release?
Well, hopefully the radio single and music
video gets lots of airplay and attention. The next step would
be performances and appearances to promote the album. I look
forward to getting out there and meeting my fans and hopefully
making lots of new ones!
